Always wanted to take some screen caps from a video but never works when you press the screen print button?
So now I'm gonna teach you how to take screen caps for AVI, RMVB, MPEG etc. files.
If you have the old Window Media Player 10 you can use the ctrl+I to take screen capture but if you don't then you gotta download the Media Player Classic.
This is the link to download the Media Player Classic: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YOBAXWH7 (You have to use winrar to extract the file), no installation is required.
Afterward all you need to do is open the video using that player, once the video is playing. You can take screen caps of the video by going to the file menu at the top and click on Save Image... or the shortcut key is Alt+I, then select where you want to save the image to.
Some RMVB files you open on Media Player Classic have no sounds, that is a normal thing because a lot of my RMVB files are like that. It's probably the way they encoded the file was different that is why some files you open have sounds and some don't. But it doesn't matter if you're just using it to take screen caps and not for watching.
Pretty simple, right?
Okay hope everyone have lots of fun taking screen caps then!
