Typing Chinese and help you read Chinese

I'm sure not everyone who comes here fully understand Chinese or might have some problems of typing or reading Chinese. I'm just gonna share some tools I know from the internet to help you make Chinese easier.

I know majority of people who uses Internet Explorer but I just wanna point out that Firefox has a lot of add-on tools which are very useful. And within those add-on tools there is some Chinese translator tools which is very helpful for you to read Chinese. Basically once you have Firefox installed and installed that tool, when you turn on that translator it automatically show you the English meaning of that word and the ping ying once your mouse hover a Chinese character.

This is the page where you can have a look at the Chinese tools add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search?q=Chinese&cat=all
I have tried the first two tools, both are very good. But I would recommend the first one because the second one seem to slow down your browser when your changing tabs (maybe it only happens to odd computers like mine one). And the first one also include Japanese-English translator and other shortcut links to other translator like Google translator and BabelFish.

I know some people want to type Chinese but doesn't have a program. No need to worry, now you can type in Chinese whenever and in any computer as long as you have the internet.
This site here: http://www.purpleculture.net/Online-Chinese-Input-System.asp provides you the place to type in Chinese online. No need to install anything, all you need to know is the ping ying of the Chinese character. It is very useful especially when you want to type in Chinese but you don't have any program or your not using your own computer.

Okay that's all for now and thanks for reading it. If you have any question please post a comment here and not on the cbox.

if you're talking about the first tool on the link i gave you. Click on the button on the left (the one with a red border around a character) then click on Chinese to English (something like that) then wait for it to analyis the page. Then your done!

Sorry, never knew that the search result changes all the time.

Okay, the one that I recommend is this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/811

It's called Chinese-Japanese-English Character Hint Bar 0.41f
