Is "YES" a cover song?

Recently there's news about Lollipop's new song "YES" is a cover song of "Ultra Music Power" by Hey!Say!JUMP.
Hey!Say!JUMP is a Japanese pop group under Johnny's Entertainment (same as NewS and Kat-Tun), recently fans of Hey!Say!JUMP are dissing Lollipop about them plagiarizing the song "Ultra Music Power".

Some people says it's similar and some people say it's differently, I've heard the song and I think it's similar.
But whether it's a cover song or not, it does not matter to me because in this world people copy other people that's how it is to me.
It's not a big deal, a lot of other artist do cover songs. It's whether if the song itself is nice or not. So I don't why people make such a big fuss about it.

This is the PV of Hey!Say!JUMP "Ultra Music Power". Listen and see for yourself!

the problem is that it's copyrighted,, meaning it's pretty much illegal for them to do so. I doubt they ever asked the original writers if they could copy the stuff they do.
Also, they've copied not only HSJ but Kanjani8,,KAT-TUN,, WaT,, and NEWS as well. There should be a limit to it shouldn't there?

but i know, since u're a fan of them u can't really judge them and really mine is just a biased opinion`` at least think of both sides before u say something as "But whether it's a cover song or not, it does not matter to me because in this world people copy other people that's how it is to me." it's disrespectful.

wow people biased much? this isn't the only time BBT has done this. it's something called infringement. note that i personally don't like any of those bands mentioned above ^ and seriously, it probably doesn't even matter. but it's the way you look at it. if you like BBT then you don't care that they're unoriginal and take ideas off others like immature elementary school kids do online with websites and css. just because the tune is a little different doesn't say anything. it's plagiarizing. for example - is it right to copy someone's essay 1/2 of the way and then make the other 1/2 your own? hell no. i'm not coming back here to read any replies you snap back at me, i've made my point.
